Brian Isbell Garcia Joins Lost-n-Found Youth’s Board of Directors, May 2018
(Atlanta, Georgia) – Lost-n-Found Youth is pleased to announce the election of Brian Isbell Garcia, a World Champion horse trainer to its Board of Directors. With over 150 titles to his name, he is respected as one of the best trainers and coaches in the nation. He and his husband Kevin have lived in Atlanta for the past 16 years, and both have a deep commitment to community, social justice, and equality issues.
Brian’s non-profit and fundraising experience is extensive, having served on the board of For The Kid in All of Us, Inc for the past 8 years now, 5 of those years as President. Brian and the FTK board have collected over 52,000 toys 30,000 backpacks and $450,000.00 for Georgia’s children in need. In 2014 Brian was honored by Fenuxe magazine as one of
Atlanta’s most influential people in the LGBT community for his work with For The Kid in All of Us. In Brian’s commitment to community and love for children he strives to provide access to resources and joy for kids who are under-resourced and homeless. Brian’s extensive network expands far beyond the local community and is indispensable in providing support to the causes in which he is involved.
Brian was attracted to Lost-n-Found Youth because he and his husband are blessed with families that are both understanding and showed gave them unconditional love. He is passionate about the organization because he can’t imagine being disowned by one’s family, and made to feel they are less than.
