Thriving Children Event Raises Funds for Homeless LGBTQ Youth

(Atlanta, Georgia) – More than 300 guests attended the seventh annual Thriving Children Fashion Show and Gala on April 29th benefiting Lost-n-Found Youth. The event raised more than $103,000, with just at $66,000 directly benefiting Lost-n-Found Youth.

Hosted and produced by Steve Hightower of the Steve Hightower Hair Salon & Day Spa, with special emcee Karen Greer, Thriving Children was held in the Egyptian Ballroom at the Fox Theatre and featured special performances by the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus Panache Ensemble, Sentimental Journey Orchestra, and international Cher impersonator, Chad Michaels.

Atlanta-based musician and emerging pop artist Norwood recently completed a video for his new single ‘Broken’ which was filmed on-site at the Lost-n-Found Youth renovation project on Juniper Street NE in midtown Atlanta.
