Join the British Consulate-General Atlanta in Supporting LNFY at Atlanta Pride

The UK is one of the most progressive countries in Europe for LGBT rights and equality, with more than 60 annual Pride events held in cities across the UK, and an additional 16 cities across the US. 2017 Atlanta Pride marks the fourth year the British Consulate-General Atlanta will participate in the festivities. In fact, it’s the only foreign mission in Atlanta to take part. On Sunday, 15 October, join us for breakfast, the parade march, and a post-parade reception.

LNFY Invites the Public to Visit the New Youth Center

(Atlanta, Georgia) – Over the last year, Lost-n-Found Youth’s drop-in Youth Center serving homeless LGBTQ youth has been operating beyond capacity in a tiny space. According to Executive Director, Rick Westbrook, a primary goal for 2017 was to expand the Youth Center to be able to meet the growing need. Now, this dream will be realized as LNFY opens a new, expanded Youth Center on Lambert Drive.

Camping Event Seeks to Raise $10,000 for Homeless Youth

A Weekend Beyond the Ordinary (AWBTO) is a four-day camping festival celebrating inclusion, self-expression, and joy that seeks to raise $10,000 for Lost-n-Found Youth (LNFY), an organization that serves homeless LGBTQI youth in Atlanta. The event will be held June 15-19, 2017, at The River’s Edge, a campground near Bowman, Georgia, and will feature DJs playing a variety of musical genres, dancing by the pool, a tie dye clinic, an epic Holi powder vs. water balloons battle, and black light body painting, among other festivities. Anyone 21+ of any sexual orientation is welcome.

Lost-n-Found needs your help with this endeavor! We are looking for people to help us paint the new digs April 1, 2017. We are looking for individuals and groups to come volunteer to help us make the new space as beautiful as possible.
