Our Program

We provide volunteer orientations prior to welcoming new members of the community to help us with our mission. Orientations last about an hour. You will learn more about the history of our organization and discover ways in which you can give your time to help end homelessness for Atlanta’s LGBTQ youth. Volunteers who wish to work directly with clients are asked to consent to a background check. We encourage everyone who consents to a background check to make a suggested $20 donation to cover the cost associated with background checks.

The next volunteer orientation will be:

Tuesday, January 14 at 12pm – This volunteer orientation will take place at the youth center.

Tuesday, January 14 at 7pm – This orientation will take place at the youth center.

If you are interested in attending one of these volunteer orientations, please RSVP on the form below.

You can reach Ashley Robinson, Volunteer and Development Coordinator with any questions at ashley@lost-n-found.org or (470) 346-0389.

Street Outreach
Youth on the street learn to protect themselves emotionally and physically to prevent being hurt.  Our street outreach volunteers actively search for homeless youth living on the street to offer assistance.

Youth Center

Our youth center volunteers staff the facility and provide LGBTQ youth with a safe place to come for resources and referral services.

Thrift and Consignment Store

Our paid staff in our retail operation can always use a few extra hands processing and sorting the intake of donated items to the store. People with retail or merchandising experience are helpful, but not required.
